i’m participating in fun-a-day this year. my project is to take a picture of a stranger every day for the month of january. my goal is to improve my skills at going up to people and asking to make a portrait of them, though, admittedly, portrait #1 was taken without asking. portrait #2, however, i actually went up and chatted with (she had dogs, which made it easier, i think) and it turns out she’s participating in the project, too. i hope this is how well all of them go. wish me luck–i’m probably the worst procrastinator i know, but i really want to follow through on this one and be in the show in february.
