saturday i attended the maryland sheep & wool festival with my mom, my cousin, and my nephew. i wasn’t really all that interested in buying any yarn or wool, or other craft-related items since i’ve not knitted a stitch in several months. i was more looking forward to the photo-ops, and spending time with my family.
the place was strangely swarming with medieval re-enactors in t-shirts that stated, “you’d recognize me if i was wearing garb.” we (shamefully) recognized them anyway from our days running around in garb.
these freaky sheep-men were in one of my favorite vendor booths. they’ve got all sorts of charming vintage sheep and wool related items. tiny llama statuettes, old bobbins and spools of thread, rustic paintings, and little iron cages for your ball of yarn.
